My parents got this '23 maverick that was kinda one of the last ones off the line that year. It was built around the end of Sep'23

Do your cars ever get that weird, shaky feeling when you're slowing down and the car switches from the regular engine to electric? It's like a little shudder or something.

I found some info about a fix for this, but it looked like it was for the older '23s. Just wondering if anyone with a later build is seeing this too. Let me know!

if you're talking about something like a shudder when decelerating, this happened to me a couple of times.. just been driving a maverick 7/23 manufacture date for about 3 months now.. so i'm also a bit clueless and not so confident to deal with the dealer..

I don't think it's common in maverick '23, and it sounds like you need to repair it asap if you don't want it getting worse

Had that shudder before when hitting the brakes, buddy of mine adviced me to warm up the car real good before going out since hybrid cars tend to warm up a bit slower.

Yeah, that shudder when the engine shuts down was something they noticed on the early '23 Mavericks. Ford even released a TSB (23-2248) about it, mainly for models made before April '23. Since yours is a late-September build, it should have the updated PCM from the factory.
