Holiday vacation trip with with Mav

So my wife and I just wrapped up planning our big summer vacation road trip style. Naturally, I suggested we take my trusty 2023 Maverick Hybrid XLT. It's comfy, sips gas like a bird, and honestly, I kinda just wanted an excuse to rack up some good miles on it, but of course, you know how the wives can be ( thinks anything without a V8 is a "toy") and gave me grief about "driving a lawnmower across state lines." Meanwhile, my dad who still thinks hybrids need to be plugged in every night kept asking where the "charging stops" were along our route. anyway fast forward: we packed up, hit the road, and let me tell you.... the Mav crushed it, averaged close to 43 mpg even with the bed full of coolers, bikes, and enough snacks to feed an army. No range anxiety, no drama, just smooth cruising.

That's a great milestone and a fun read! You're not alone. Others have pulled off long hauls with the Hybrid and hit similar numbers, even with a loaded bed. If you ever want to squeeze out a few more miles, some have had luck using slippery mode or adjusting driving habits to reduce regen drag. Did you notice any comfort issues on the trip, like seat fatigue or road noise? A few owners mentioned that as the only tradeoff on longer drives.
