How legit is 900 miles on a single tank

Just saw someone claim they pulled over 900 miles on a single tank in their 2024 Maverick hybrid and now I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about fuel economy. I've been getting decent numbers in mine, but nothing close to that, are those kinds of numbers really possible with hypermiling cos there be a lot of ramblers on the internet these days, or is there some perfect combo of terrain, speed and wizardry I'm missing? what are you guys pulling on good days and is that 900 actually plausible?

Yeah, 900 miles is wild but technically possible with extreme hypermiling, think flat roads, low speeds, no AC, and gentle driving but mfolks pull 600–700 tops, it's rare, but not total wizardry

Beats our 82 Audi 4000 diesel which gets 54mpg on steady 65 highway speeds.
Also my 82 VW diesel pickup which gets 52mpg on those types of roads. 15 gallon tank on the pickup.

The Maverick hybrid's tank is around 13.8 gallons, so you'd need to average about 65 mpg, which some folks claim they've pulled off. Most are probably in the 40-50 mpg range on good days. What kind of numbers are you seeing with yours?
