Wrong deep sleep messages and random battery drain

Does anyone here have an issue like mine? I noticed that Ford messed up my car's Sync 3 system, which caused annoying things, like wrong "deep sleep" messages (code 52307) and the battery dying (randomly draining) when the car is off (code 53087).

All the lights on the dashboard turn off when the car thinks it's in deep sleep.

I'm thinking about removing the Maverick truck from the FordPass to stop the battery from randomly dying and stop the wrong deep sleep messages, but I'm not sure tho'

I found out that Ford's "fix" right now is to disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minutes and then charge it. Any thoughts about this?

A bit similar to mine. my battery keeps dying and the dealer's replaced it twice in just over a year! Not really sure what's causing it since we drive it regularly

I've seen a few folks deal with the same codes and I dont really know how they dealt with it but I think its worth a shot to try and remove it from fordpass, hopefully Ford pushes a real fix soon

Itsa known issue with some Sync 3 systems, false deep sleep alerts and unexpected battery drain. Removing the truck from FordPass might help, as some think the app keeps pinging the system. The battery cable reset is a temporary fix, but it's more of a band aid..

Not sure if i'm glad to know that I;m not the only one experiencing this. I would try the FordPass hack. anyone here had positive outcomes after removing?

Yeah, I ditched FordPass for a week just to test and the deep sleep alerts stopped completely. But I've been keeping an eye on the drain since then. So far, it's been quiet.

If you delete FordPass wouldn’t that also stop the alerts as the app is not on your phone?

Sync 3 deep sleep problems can be really annoying. While disconnecting FordPass and resetting the cables offer a short-term fix, we really need a lasting software solution
