Cold weather and power loss troubles?

When driving in colder weather my '23 Hybrid shows signs of power loss. It feels like the engine struggles more when temperatures drop. Has anyone experienced this or found a solution?

goodness, I'm not the only one, I noticed something similar with my '23 Hybrid too. In the colder mornings, it just doesn't feel as responsive, almost like it's dragging or hesitant to accelerate. I'm not sure if it's the battery management system or just how the engine warms up, but it's definitely frustrating. I haven't found a fix yet though, dealer said "normal behavior," but it doesn't feel normal to me.

Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. I actually had mine checked and the dealer said its normal behavior too. Still doesn't sit right with me. Did they give you any advice or is it just the usual brush off? @Topgun G

Some '23 Maverick Hybrids are known to experience power outages during cold weather. Due to issues with HPCM software that affected driveability, Ford issued recall 25S16. Since some faulty units have also produced similar symptoms, have your dealer check for this update and confirm the condition of your 12V battery.

Hybrid cars take a bit longer to get warmed up, make sure you warmp up your car real good before travelling.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll have my dealer check out the HPCM software and recall 25S16. Warming up the car is a great tip too although this seems like more than just a cold start hiccup. Praying it's an easy fix. Updates to come!
