yesterday I was driving home when i suddenly lost powerf on my maverick, no warning, no nothing, just decided to stop accelerating. I had my foot to the floor and I wasn't going anywhere. Anyone here experienced something similar?

That's scary! Prolly a limp mode or powertrain problem TBH. For this, your OBD2 scanner really comes in handy (hope you do have one). Get it scanned asap if you don't.

Glad you're safe.. Sudden loss of power with no warning could be issues like throttle body failure, fuel delivery problems, or a sensor malfunction like the MAF or crankshaft position sensor. Kinda odd there were no warning lights at all. Did the engine stay running or did it just stall completely?

The title of your post caught my attention! That's a scary situation but I'm glad you're okay! It can be a number of the things like the others mentioned here. Sometimes codes are also stored without an active light. So it's definitely worth getting your truck inspected before driving it again!
