My Maverick hybrid nightmare

I took a short trip in my Maverick Hybrid and ended up stranded at a red light, every warning light lit up, transmission shifted to Park, and parking brake locked, it turns out the 12V battery was completely dead. Ford's system shuts everything down until it sees power again. After multiple failures, backordered parts, and weak customer service, I've lost trust. Loved it at first, but now I'm looking into Texas Lemon Law

A dead 12V should not take down the whole system like that, especially on something that new. Clearly there's something going on there. I hope the lemon law works out in your favor.

I was shocked too, I didn't expect the entire truck to shut down from a dead 12V, it's been frustrating, but yeah, hoping the lemon law gives me some ground

Looking into the Lemon law, is a smart move, who wants to deal with repeated failures and bad service, especially when you just want a reliable daily driver

Exactly. I didn't buy a new truck to be stuck at red lights and chase parts for weeks...reliability should be a given, not something I have to fight for.
