Zero rev and roar

Apparently, hybrids aren't big on flair. I got curious the other day and tried revving my hybrid truck's engine. I gave the pedal a nudge, and… nada. Turns out, there's no way to hear that satisfying roar unless you're in gear, which feels like a letdown. Sometimes, curiosity gets you a silent treatment.

Great points. You can definitely make the sound louder when revving, but with hybrids switching between electric and gas, you'll mainly hear the exhaust when the gas engine is on. If you're thinking about changing to a freer-flowing muffler or axle-back system, that can give it a deeper sound. Just remember, it won't be as consistent as on a regular gas car
